Our eight‑acre wellness sanctuary overlooks Costa Rica’s Central Valley, home to San José and nearby cities, and sits in the province of Alajuela. From this magical country, you can watch the sun rise over the Atlantic and set over the Pacific — all in the same day (with a scenic road trip in between!).

Pura Vida Spa is a non‑smoking or vaping retreat.

Please refrain from smoking or vaping in:

Gardens & pathways

💚 Gratuities — Sharing the Love

More than 30 amazing team members work together to make your stay exceptional. Tips are pooled weekly and shared equally among our hospitality team.

✨ Suggested contribution: $10 per guest, per day (optional & discretionary)

Spa Treatments

Standard gratuity: 15–20%
Preferred: cash at time of service or added to your treatment receipt

Tour guides are also customarily tipped if you feel called to do so.
